How Buddha's teachings changed my life
How Buddha's teachings changed my life [Personal Experience]

I never knew simple words could quietly change someone’s life — until I created an Instagram account for Buddha Quotes.

After college, I had a simple idea: open an Instagram account dedicated to Buddha’s teachings. His words have always captivated me — they are calm, profound, and timeless. Without delay, I created an account called Buddhaquotes___ and began posting daily. No followers, no engagement, but I kept going.

One day, a message arrived from someone who said they begin each morning with my quotes. That message gave me purpose. Over time, the account grew. Today, it has more than 455k followers and has led me to launch my spiritual platform Hidden Mantra.

5 Buddha quotes that will completely change your life

Buddha quotes have always been a light for me in many trying times in life. Five Buddha quotes that changed my life:

1.“All mental states are preceded by mind. Mind is their master; they are produced by mind.” — Dhammapada 1

Our thoughts shape the way we see the world. What we feel or become begins inside the mind. A calm or chaotic life starts with how we think.

2.“All conditioned things are impermanent. When one sees this with wisdom, one turns away from suffering.” — Dhammapada 277

Everything in life—pain, joy, success—keeps changing. Knowing this deeply helps us stop clinging or fearing. With that wisdom, suffering naturally loses its grip.

3.“Even as a solid rock is unshaken by the wind, so are the wise unshaken by praise or blame.” — Dhammapada 81

A wise person stays steady through good or bad words. They don’t rise with praise or fall with criticism. Like a rock stays in the wind, they remain grounded within.

4.“Let go of the past, let go of the future, let go of the present. With a heart that is free, cross over to the other shore.” — Dhammapada 348

Freedom begins when we release time’s grip on us. No clinging to what was, is, or will be. That letting go leads us to inner peace beyond suffering.

5.“Just as the lotus rises from muddy water unstained, so does the awakened one rise from the world — unattached and pure.” — Dhammapada 49

The raisin live in the world but are not weighed down by it. Like the lotus, they remain to stay unique by the dirt and mud around them. Their purity comes from rising above attachment and desire.
